While I am sure you are all busy preparing for the season ahead, I am delighted to let you know
about a weekend practical musicianship workshop that the L&B Branch are hosting on the weekend of
30 September/ 1 October 2023 from 0930 - 1600
,to help your band members increase their skill set in preparation for the 2024 season.
In addition there will be a Drum Major workshop catering for all levels, from complete beginners onward.
The venue will be Edinburgh Academy and there will be no cost attached as the Branch is funding the workshop in full.
We will have a team of first class Instructors from the RSPBA Pipe Band College who all have an exemplary record in their field.

The content of the course can be shaped to fit the needs and wants of the individuals attending the course and the booking form will contain a short questionnaire to gather this information.
A sample syllabus is attached with examples of the kind of topics that can be covered.

There is no exam element to worry about from this workshop though participants will receive feedback from the instructors and a Certificate of Participation.
